October is Natonal Breast Cancer Awareness Month


October has been designated Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast Cancer is the second most common cancer among women, other than skin cancer. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, after lung cancer.


The Sister Study is looking for women between the ages of 35 and 74 years old who has never had breast cancer, lives in the U.S. or Puerto Rico and has a sister (living, deceased), related to you by blood, who had breast cancer.
