Brown's Divorce Attorney seeks to sever professional ties

Another sttorney for Bobby Brown is claiming the 'Don't Be Cruel' singer has a heart attack in October- despite Brown's claim that it was just a 'medical scare.'

In court papers filed (obtained by CelebTv.com), Brown's attorney, Stacy D. Phillips, is seeking to withdraw as Brown's divorce attorney.

Phillips filed a motion in Orange County Superior Court on Dec. 11, requesting "to be relieved as attorney of record in this action or proceeding."

According to court papers, Phillips believed Brown was not available for an Oct. 22 hearing due to poor health: "On October 10, 2007, on behalf of Respondent [Brown], his counsel represented that it was his understanding that Respondent suffered a mild heart attack."

Brown's attorney and friend, Phaedra Parks, said back in October the heart attack was due to "stress and diet."

Bobby Brown is denying that he suffered a heart attack. WTF?? Why would his attorney, Phaedra Parks, lie about something like that?? He is admitting that he did go to the hospital, for a "checkup." He says he is healthy as a horse and will be touring soon.

This is the latest word on Bobby:

"This morning they did diagnose him as suffering from a mild heart attack ... they attributed (it) to stress and diet," said his attorney, Phaedra Parks, in Atlanta.

His father and brother stayed with Brown and he was released Wednesday morning in good condition, Parks said.

"He is in great spirits, he's doing very well," she said. "He's speaking with family members."

Brown thanked fans for their good wishes and hoped to make a scheduled performance Saturday in Los Angeles, his attorney said.

"He just wants the fans to know that he is definitely going to come back full speed ahead," Parks said. (SOURCE)
