Video: Irv Gotti's Reality TV Show

In an earlier post, I let you all know that VH1 decided to let Irv Gotti have his own show. In this video, we get a tiny glimpse into Gotti's life as he tries a comeback. I am not sure he wants to bet "the ranch" on Ja Rule, but hey, you never know.

I think I will be tuning in just to see Vanessa Carlton, who I think is very talented.

Ok, ok, I know my post title is a little misleading... but New York still looks the same. This post should actually be for her mom, Sister Patterson, who looked absolutely stunning in the photo op for VH1.

That is right, Season 2 of I Love New York airs October 8.

In other VH1 news, a boycott has been launched against VH1. Reason? For its negative portrayal of black women.

Aspiring Hip Hop Producer??

VH1 has announced a contest for aspiring hip hop producers. The winner will get a chance to create this year's Hip Hop Honors show theme with ?uestlove from The Roots and a trip to NYC to attend the celebration.

This years honorees include Snoop Dogg, WHODINI, Missy Elliott, Wild Style's 25th Anniversary and Teddy Riley and Andre Harrell for New Jack Swing. The show airs October 8.
